This tour takes place along Route 7 and the Mendoza River. In addition, we will see the most beautiful mountains in Mendoza. We will enjoy Cacheuta and Potrerillos with its water reservoir. Finally, we will make a stop at Uspallata, Penitentes Ski Resort and the Puente del Inca, an incredible natural formation.
You can enjoy a technical stop with a good hot chocolate or espresso. Then we will continue towards the Andes mountain range.
We will cross the three mountain ranges. First the foothills, then the Frontal Mountain Range and the Main Mountain Range at the end of the road.
To finish we will continue until the entrance to the “Aconcagua Provincial Park”. Reserve in which we can enter and make different routes to learn more about the landscape and its natural environment. It should be noted that at this height we will be almost 3000 meters above sea level and depending on the physical fitness of the passenger we will have to choose which path to take to select the best photos to immortalize. The shortest option is to the viewpoint that is located a few meters from the entrance to the Park. A second option offers us the entrance to the park through the main road (approximately an hour and a half walking) to discover the Laguna Espejo, the Mirador del Aconcagua and the Laguna Horcones. The third option is to continue the walk along the same path used during the ascent season by climbers and reach the hanging bridge over the Horcones River (about 2 hours of walking in total).
